With the now-new Fedora 30, there came two new desktop environments: Pantheon from ElementaryOS and Deepin.
One of my daughters used ElementaryOS and Pantheon for quite a while, and it turned out to be extremely stable and fast.
The installation is just dead simple:
sudo dnf groupinstall 'pantheon desktop'
If you want to give Deepin a try:
sudo dnf install deepin-desktop
Reboot afterwards (caveat: check your boot menu if using BIOS boot) and select the new desktop environment at the login window after selecting the user entry.
Basically log-off could also work, but I prefer to have a freshly rebooted system when changing the desktop environment.
